PSG holds a commanding lead with 63 points from 27 games, effectively securing a top-four finish and Champions League qualification, while RC Lens sits second on 59 points after 28 matches, also well-positioned. The battle for third and fourth rages between Lille (52 points from 27 games), Marseille (51 points from 29), and a chasing pack of Lyon, Rennes, and Monaco—all on 49 points from 29 games—needing strong runs in the final five matchdays. Monaco's stunning 1-4 upset loss to Paris FC on April 10th dropped them to seventh on goal difference, hampered by injuries to fullbacks Vanderson and Caio Henrique. Marseille bolstered their claim with a 3-1 win over Metz, but upcoming fixtures like PSG vs. Lyon and Strasbourg vs. Rennes could shift the table dramatically amid tight goal differences and head-to-head ties.
