With Paris Saint-Germain dominating Ligue 1 on 63 points from 27 games and the title all but secured, the race for the remaining three Champions League spots intensifies among RC Lens (59 points from 28), Lille (53 from 29), Marseille (52 from 29), Lyon (51 from 29), Rennes (50 from 29), and Monaco (49 from 29)—a mere four-point gap separating third from seventh. Lille's six-game unbeaten run, including five straight wins, has propelled them up the table, while Marseille climbed into fourth with a 3-1 win over rock-bottom Metz six days ago, extending their push. Lyon's form hinges on Endrick's scoring surge, but Monaco faltered with a recent loss after five victories. Critical head-to-head fixtures and goal differences loom large over the final five to seven matchdays.
