The closely matched probabilities for the next mayor of Pardubice reflect a fragmented field ahead of the October 9–10, 2026, communal elections, where the position is determined by post-election coalition negotiations in the city council rather than direct popular vote. Incumbent Jan Nadrchal (ANO) and first deputy Jakub Rychtecký (leading the Žijeme Pardubice alliance with local groupings) hold the highest implied probabilities due to their current roles and established voter bases, while challengers such as Daniel Vondra (STAN), Martin Slezák (Progresivní Pardubice), Petr Netolický, Leoš Janda, and Ondřej Tichý (ODS) trail amid separate candidacies and smaller coalitions. Recent registration of candidate lists and minor legal challenges over multiple candidacies have added procedural uncertainty without shifting momentum, keeping outcomes dependent on turnout, preference votes, and alliance-building among parties that historically require broad support to secure a majority.
