The 2026-27 Slovenian PrvaLiga season is in its opening weeks, with early defensive metrics showing Maribor conceding the fewest goals per game while Koper, Olimpija Ljubljana, and Celje sit close behind on clean-sheet counts. Trader sentiment remains tightly bunched because no side has established sustained dominance in a league where historical back-line strength, goalkeeper consistency, and squad rotation routinely fluctuate. Celje’s involvement in UEFA Champions League qualifiers introduces fixture congestion that could test defensive depth, while Maribor and Koper benefit from strong starts and home/away splits that favor shutouts. With 30-plus rounds remaining, minor roster adjustments, injuries, or shifts in attacking output across the mid-table sides keep implied probabilities clustered, reflecting broad uncertainty over which defense will lead in total clean sheets by season’s end.
