Corporate earnings growth remains robust, with analysts projecting 25% full-year expansion led by technology and AI beneficiaries, supporting the index near 7,764 despite narrower market leadership. Hawkish dot-plot signals point to additional tightening, pressuring Treasury yields and multiples while geopolitical easing around U.S.-Iran relations has tempered oil volatility. Key near-term catalysts include the next FOMC meeting, upcoming CPI and employment data, and third-quarter earnings releases that could clarify whether profit momentum offsets tighter financial conditions.
