Veteran tight end David Njoku remains an unsigned free agent over a month into the 2026 NFL offseason, fueling trader consensus with Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, and Atlanta Falcons clustered at 46-48% implied probabilities amid multiple suitors chasing his seam-stretching receiving skills and blocking prowess. His February announcement ending a nine-year Browns tenure—coupled with a fruitless Ravens visit—has shifted focus to teams addressing TE voids: Cardinals bolstering Kyler Murray's weapons beyond Trey McBride, Rams seeking post-Tyler Higbee dynamism in Sean McVay's scheme, and Falcons leveraging new coach Kevin Stefanski's prior Cleveland connection as Kyle Pitts' status lingers unresolved. Cap flexibility, youth QB synergies like Anthony Richardson (Colts at 41%) and Joe Burrow (Bengals 41%), and Njoku's injury history keep the field tightly contested without a clear frontrunner as the draft nears.
