Trader consensus on Polymarket assigns a 94.5% implied probability to "No" for Uber inviting founder Travis Kalanick back by June 30, 2027, driven by the company's robust performance under CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, including strong Q4 2025 results and ambitious robotaxi partnerships amid autonomous vehicle advancements. Kalanick's March 2026 launch of Atoms—a holding company focused on "gainfully employed robots," self-driving cars, and AI infrastructure—signals his pivot to competing ventures rather than reconciliation, echoing his full board departure in 2019 following the 2017 scandals. While a major leadership crisis, robotaxi regulatory hurdles, or platform stagnation could theoretically prompt a founder recall, Uber's stable executive dynamics and Kalanick's independent trajectory strongly underpin the bearish sentiment.
