With the 2025-26 NBA regular season concluding April 12 without Victor Wembanyama recording a quadruple-double in 64 games, traders' 97% consensus on "No" stems from his season averages—25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and blocks leadership—falling short in assists (3.1 per game) or steals needed to hit 10 across four categories. His closest efforts topped out around seven assists with strong points/rebounds/blocks lines, but low playmaking volume persisted amid San Antonio's 62-20 Western Conference runner-up finish. A late rib contusion from April 6 versus Philadelphia limited recent availability, clouding playoff minutes starting April 19 at home against Portland. An improbable blowout with garbage-time stat-padding remains the sole path to "Yes," though competitive playoff matchups temper expectations.
