Switzerland enters Group B as the highest-ranked side with an experienced squad featuring Granit Xhaka for his fourth World Cup appearance, alongside key defenders like Manuel Akanji, following an unbeaten UEFA qualifying campaign that positions the team as the clear favorite in trader pricing. Canada benefits from co-host status and home matches in Toronto and Vancouver under coach Jesse Marsch, with attacking options such as Jonathan David providing momentum ahead of the June kickoff. Bosnia and Herzegovina carries recent playoff success, including a penalty-shootout victory over Italy to secure qualification, though lower FIFA standing limits upside. Qatar, the lowest-ranked entrant and 2022 hosts, faces the steepest challenge against the group's mix of UEFA and Concacaf competition. These factors align with current implied probabilities reflecting squad depth, recent form, and venue advantages.
