Benjamin Bonzi enters the Quebec City Challenger first-round matchup as the clear favorite against Justin Boulais due to his higher ATP ranking near 100 and greater experience on the professional circuit. Bonzi has competed recently in ATP 1000 events including Cincinnati and the National Bank Open in Montreal, where he secured qualifying wins before competitive losses to established players. Boulais, ranked around 398 and coming off a loss in Montreal qualifying, faces a significant step up in class on the hard courts. The pair has no prior head-to-head history, but Bonzi’s superior recent form, consistency, and match-play volume create a wide implied-probability gap reflected in current pricing. Home-country support for the Canadian Boulais offers limited counterbalance given the ranking disparity.
