Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” holds the strongest trader consensus for CMA Single of the Year 2026 at 69% implied probability, driven by its record-shattering performance as the longest-running non-holiday Hot 100 No. 1 by a solo female artist and country’s Song of the Summer. The track earned ACM Single and Song of the Year honors earlier in 2026 while topping charts for 22 weeks, reflecting broad commercial dominance and critical momentum ahead of the November 18 ceremony. The five nominees include Langley’s second entry “Be Her,” Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You,” Lainey Wilson’s “Somewhere Over Laredo,” and Cody Johnson’s “The Fall,” though these trail significantly in sustained airplay, streaming, and sales. Nominations released September 10 reinforced Langley’s frontrunner status across nine total CMA nods.
