Eva Lopez, ranked around 1182 on the WTA, faces 19-year-old Ukrainian Yelyzaveta Chainykova with no prior head-to-head record in the round of 32 at the ITF W15 Monastir event on outdoor hard courts. Lopez brings more senior-level experience and recent match play at the venue, including wins and a loss in prior Monastir stops this season, while Chainykova draws on junior success with multiple ITF junior doubles titles and a career-high junior ranking near 165. The hard surface favors consistent baseline play, and both players enter with limited top-level results, making recent form, physical freshness after travel to Tunisia, and adaptation to the conditions key variables in this early-round encounter.
