Anastasia Tikhonova holds a clear edge in the ITF W50 Prague round of 16 on outdoor clay, driven by her higher WTA ranking near 267 compared to Nastasja Schunk’s position around 386, along with seventh-seed status. The 25-year-old Russian brings greater recent ITF experience and consistency, while the 23-year-old German left-hander has shown clay affinity in prior seasons but limited current momentum. No head-to-head history exists, and both advanced through early rounds without reported injuries or withdrawals. Tikhonova’s baseline game and ranking advantage align with the surface demands, though Schunk’s potential for aggressive play creates room for competitive sets in this lower-tier event.
