Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans finished the 2026 IPL league stage tied on 18 points with identical 9-5 records, separated only by net run rate, which placed RCB first and GT second. Both sides advanced through the playoffs to meet in the final, where RCB secured a dominant 92-run win over GT in Qualifier 1 before the Titans responded with a strong Qualifier 2 victory. This setup leaves the title race extremely close, reflecting the teams' comparable depth, recent momentum shifts, and head-to-head intensity in a winner-takes-all contest. Trader pricing mirrors this balanced contest between two sides with strong overall form and no decisive edge entering the decider.
