Lucas Poullain enters the ITF M25 Carnac clay-court match as the clear ranking favorite over Daniel Jade, holding an ATP position near 384 compared to Jade’s standing around 1447. Poullain has posted consistent clay results this spring, including strong showings in Istanbul and other M25 events, and he holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge after defeating Jade at the 2025 Royan Challenger on the same surface. Jade arrives off recent qualifying appearances at Roland Garros but faces a significant experience gap on outdoor clay against the higher-ranked Frenchman. The match’s outcome hinges on Poullain maintaining baseline consistency while Jade looks to exploit any early unforced errors in the opener.
