Maria Fernanda Herazo Gonzalez enters this W15 Brasilia round-of-32 match on hard courts as the clear favorite based on ranking, age, and recent form. The 29-year-old Colombian has compiled a stronger 2026 record with multiple ITF wins, including victories in Orlando and Bonita Springs, while holding a significantly higher career ranking near the top 500. Seventeen-year-old Agustina Soto Neira, ranked around 1,500, shows promise with qualifier successes and solid hard-court results earlier in the year but carries a mixed win-loss record and limited senior experience. Head-to-head history is minimal, leaving recent momentum and physical maturity as primary differentiators on the outdoor hard surface.
