Samsung Lions hold a clear edge in this KBO matchup, backed by their stronger 2026 campaign. Sitting third in the standings near .585 winning percentage with a 38-27 record, the Lions contrast sharply with the last-place Kiwoom Heroes at roughly 26-40 and .382. Samsung benefits from home-field advantage at Daegu Samsung Lions Park during the mid-June series, while Kiwoom continues to manage pitching limitations after ace An Woo-jin landed on the injured list in May with biceps tendinitis following just six starts. These factors—superior overall form, better roster depth, and venue—align with trader consensus pricing Samsung at 63.5% implied probability for the game outcome.
