The Miami Marlins hold a clear edge entering their three-game home series against the San Francisco Giants, sitting at .500 while the Giants linger well below that mark in the NL West. Miami’s stronger overall roster health contrasts with San Francisco’s multiple absences, including starters Tyler Mahle and outfielders Harrison Bader and Heliot Ramos. Recent head-to-head results favor the Giants from their April series at Oracle Park, but the current matchup shifts to loanDepot Park where Marlins pitching and home splits have been more reliable. Probable starters such as Giants right-hander Trevor McDonald face an uncertain Marlins rotation, with weather and bullpen usage likely to influence late innings. Roster depth and recent form will determine whether the underdog Giants can overcome the road disadvantage.
