If this tournament is postponed after August 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, the World Snooker Tour (wst.tv); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Mark Selby’s commanding run through the 2026 China Open has driven the extreme market consensus around his victory. The four-time champion dropped just seven frames across his opening four matches, eliminating Kyren Wilson and defending champion Neil Robertson en route to the final before closing out Noppon Saengkham 10-6 in Taiyuan. His clinical break-building, tactical safety play, and superior long-game consistency on the Riverside Sports Centre tables have reflected the wisdom of crowds pricing in near-certainty. Even at this overwhelming implied probability, late scratches, unforeseen medical issues, or an extremely rare administrative reversal remain the only theoretical paths that could still shift the outcome before formal resolution.
