FIFA confirmed its first-ever Super Bowl-style halftime show for the 2026 World Cup final at MetLife Stadium on July 19, driving trader consensus toward global superstars, though no performers have been officially announced. In the past 24 hours, President Gianni Infantino revealed multiple artists will participate, curated by Coldplay's Chris Martin and produced by Global Citizen to raise over $100 million for social causes. This follows the precedent set by J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems at the 2025 Club World Cup final halftime. Speculation favors acts with soccer ties like Shakira or Latin/U.S. headliners such as Drake or Bad Bunny, amid the North American-hosted tournament's (USA, Canada, Mexico) emphasis on spectacle, but official lineup news remains pending ahead of the June-July event.
