Kia Tigers enter as slight trader favorites at 57% implied probability against the Doosan Bears, fueled by a scorching six-game winning streak that has lifted them to 8-7 (.533) and a tie for fourth in KBO standings, with strong starting pitching from Adam Oller (1.00 ERA) and James Naile (2.50 ERA) anchoring recent momentum. Doosan languishes at 5-9-1 (.357) in ninth place, hampered by a rash of pitching injuries sidelining ace Chris Flexen (shoulder), Park Chi-guk, and Choi Won-jun, forcing a temporary signing of Wes Benjamin amid a 4-6 mark over their last 10 games. No season head-to-head yet, the April 17 matchup at Jamsil tests Kia's form against Doosan's home-field resilience and depleted rotation.
