The 2026-27 Eredivisie runner-up market remains tightly bunched because PSV Eindhoven enter as clear title favorites following three straight championships, leaving a wide field of contenders for second place. Ajax, Feyenoord, AZ, Twente, NEC, Utrecht and others enter with comparable rosters, recent form and European experience after summer rebuilds and managerial shifts. Promoted sides like ADO Den Haag, SC Cambuur and Willem II add further variables but face adaptation challenges. Early matchweek results and injury updates have not yet separated the pack, while historical patterns show the second spot often swings on head-to-head results, home advantage and fixture congestion in a league known for parity below the top team. Trader consensus reflects this broad uncertainty across the 18-team division.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
