The 2026-27 Ligue 2 title race remains tightly bunched in trader pricing because several clubs enter with comparable squad resources and promotion pedigrees. Relegated Ligue 1 sides such as Nantes, Metz, Saint-Étienne, and Reims bring greater budgets, infrastructure, and top-flight experience, yet they face adjustment challenges against established Ligue 2 outfits like Guingamp, Grenoble, Laval, and Annecy that finished strongly in recent campaigns. Newly promoted teams including Dijon and Sochaux add further parity after strong National performances, while early-season results show multiple clubs trading results in the opening fixtures. Managerial appointments, summer transfers, and fixture congestion continue to shape momentum without creating a clear frontrunner, leaving the field open for any contender to surge or fade.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
