Borussia Dortmund's commanding 8-point lead over VfB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga table after 27 matchdays, bolstered by a gritty 3-2 comeback victory against Hamburg on Matchday 27, has solidified trader consensus at 88.5% implied probability for securing second place behind runaway leaders Bayern Munich (70 points). Dortmund's superior +30 goal difference and strong early-2026 form—four wins and a draw in their first five league games—further insulate them, with favorable remaining fixtures despite a pivotal Matchday 28 trip to third-placed Stuttgart. Challengers like Bayer Leverkusen (sixth, 46 points, hampered by season-ending thigh injury to Martin Terrier) or RB Leipzig (fourth, 50 points) would need Dortmund to suffer multiple slip-ups, such as an upset loss followed by draws or defeats, while winning out themselves to close the gap over the final seven rounds.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team officially recognized by Bundesliga as finishing in second place. If multiple teams are officially awarded second place, the market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for the listed club to finish 2nd in the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season (e.g. they are mathematically unable to achieve enough points), the market will resolve to "No".
If the 2025-2026 Bundesliga season is cancelled, postponed after May 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no 2nd place team declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from the Bundesliga. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
