Trader consensus on Polymarket heavily favors Kanye West's "Bully" first-week U.S. album sales falling under 300k units at 81.5% implied probability, driven by dismal early tracking from Hits Daily Double projecting just 140k-180k equivalent units amid weak streaming spins and minimal radio airplay. Ye's recent track record—Vultures 1 at 148k and Vultures 2 at 98k—sets a precedent for diminished commercial peaks, exacerbated by persistent backlash over antisemitic controversies limiting major retailer bundles and playlist placements. Social media buzz shows polarized fan sentiment, with boycott calls outweighing die-hard support, though a last-minute digital sales surge could nudge toward 300k-400k before Luminate's final Tuesday report.
