Shohei Ohtani dominates trader consensus at 40.5% implied probability for 2026 NL MVP, fueled by his unprecedented 2024 Dodgers campaign—54 home runs and 59 steals—positioning him as the league's premier offensive force ahead of his pitching return. Juan Soto's 12.5% reflects free agency buzz linking him to NL contenders like the Dodgers or Mets, potentially creating a dream lineup. Ronald Acuña Jr.'s 10.5% hinges on full recovery from his 2024 ACL tear for a Braves resurgence, while Elly De La Cruz (5.8%) and Fernando Tatis Jr. (6.5%) excite with elite speed-power combos amid rising stolen base trends. Recent Soto negotiation updates and Ohtani's health confirmation have sharpened these odds, though multi-year volatility and voter secrecy temper long-term bets.
