If the 2026 NHL Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET or the results of the 2026 Playoffs first round have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NHL (https://www.nhl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs first round bracket finalized after the April 16 regular season finale, all eight best-of-7 series tip off April 18, granting home-ice advantage to higher seeds across the board. Eastern Conference features Buffalo Sabres (A1) vs. Boston Bruins (WC1), Tampa Bay Lightning (A2) vs. Montreal Canadiens (A3), Carolina Hurricanes (M1) vs. Ottawa Senators (WC2), and Pittsburgh Penguins (M2) vs. Philadelphia Flyers (M3)—the latter a heated rivalry revived by Philly's shootout clincher over Carolina that ended their five-year postseason drought. Western matchups pit top-seeded Colorado Avalanche against a wild card foe, Dallas Stars (C2) vs. Minnesota Wild (C3), and others emphasizing goaltender save percentages, power play rankings, and final injury reports like potential returns for key defensemen. Trader consensus reflects regular season momentum, head-to-head edges, and rest advantages in these evenly matched series.
