In the DEL playoffs, trader consensus reflects a razor-thin race among top contenders EHC München, Kölner Haie, Adler Mannheim, and Eisbären Berlin, with implied probabilities clustered at 42–45% amid best-of-seven semifinals. Kölner Haie, regular-season leaders, rallied to tie their series 1-1 against two-time defending champions Eisbären Berlin via a dominant 5-1 Game 2 win on April 14, showcasing goaltending strength and power-play efficiency. Meanwhile, Adler Mannheim holds a slim edge over EHC München after an overtime thriller in Game 1 and a recent 14th matchup, bolstered by home-ice advantage and key forwards like Ty Ronning. No major injuries reported, but momentum swings, penalty kill rates, and rest edges keep the path to the final unpredictable for all four battle-tested squads.
