The Esports World Cup 2026 EMEA Qualifier for League of Legends kicks off April 28 in a double-elimination bracket featuring all 10 LEC teams—G2 Esports, Karmine Corp, Movistar KOI, GIANTX, Natus Vincere, Team Vitality, Team Heretics, Fnatic, Shifters, and SK Gaming—plus top two from EMEA Masters 2026 Winter, Galions and Solary, with the top two finishers advancing to the main event. Galions and Solary earned their spots through dominant EMEA Masters playoff runs concluding last week, injecting underdog potential against LEC powerhouses seeded by recent LEC Versus results, where top four receive upper bracket Round 2 byes. Key factors include LEC Spring Split momentum, head-to-head history, roster stability amid transfer portal activity, and the Fearless Draft format in Bo3/Bo5 matches, with no major injuries reported.
