Anastasia Kulikova enters this ITF W50 Montemor-O-Novo hard-court encounter with a substantial edge in professional experience and ranking depth at No. 508, while Aysegul Mert sits at No. 987 with minimal ITF results and a college background at Georgia. Kulikova’s 2026 record stands at 8-9, reflecting steady if unspectacular form on the circuit, whereas Mert has posted limited senior wins outside university play. The pair has no prior head-to-head history. Recent tournament action shows Mert advancing past Katherine Sebov in straight sets, yet Kulikova’s superior baseline consistency and movement on hard courts position her as the consensus favorite among traders assessing the matchup. Schedule positioning and surface familiarity further shape the implied probabilities reflected in current pricing.
