Detroit Tigers top trader consensus at 41% implied probability to claim the 2026 AL Central crown, driven by their transformative offseason bolstering an elite rotation around Cy Young contender Tarik Skubal and new addition Framber Valdez, paired with a franchise-record $240 million payroll and recent eight-year, $150 million extension for top prospect Kevin McGonigle. Despite middling 8-9 or 9-9 division standing amid early-season inconsistency, surging performances like Skubal's near-no-hitter underscore their edge over rivals. Kansas City Royals follow at 27.5% on strong starter ERAs through 18 games, even at 7-10, while defending champs Cleveland Guardians (22%) hold steady at 10-8 with young lineup promise. Minnesota Twins' hot 11-7 start belies a thin post-2025 trade deadline roster, capping them at 13.1%, and Chicago White Sox languish at 0.8% with a dismal 6-11 mark.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the team whose listed nickname comes first alphabetically.
If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named the 2026 American League Central division champion per the rules of the MLB (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”.
If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The primary resolution source will be official information from Major League Baseball (https://www.mlb.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
