Trader consensus reflects a tight race among combative midfielders Mikel Merino, Martín Zubimendi, Declan Rice, and Konrad Laimer, all hovering around 30-34% implied probability for most red cards in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League, driven by their league-leading yellow card tallies—Zubimendi with four, Merino and Rice at three each, and Laimer one booking from automatic suspension. Recent developments include Arsenal's trio accumulating cautions in high-stakes fixtures like the January win over Inter Milan, triggering suspensions for the league phase finale, while Bayern's Laimer faces similar jeopardy ahead of their quarterfinal triumph over Real Madrid. With minimal reds league-wide so far and deep knockout runs extending exposure, their aggressive tackling styles and suspension risks keep the market bunched, underscoring the unpredictable nature of disciplinary outcomes in remaining ties.

For the purpose of this market, both direct red cards, or red cards that result from the accumulation of two yellow cards in the same match will be considered in the final count.
In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by UEFA Champions League rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
If the 2025-26 Champions League competition is cancelled, postponed after June 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”.
The resolution source for this market will be official information from UEFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
