Trader consensus reflects a 55% implied probability for the 2025/26 UEFA Europa League champion to remain unbeaten through the knockout stages, driven by six of eight quarter-finalists—Aston Villa, Braga, Freiburg, Nottingham Forest, Porto, and Real Betis—staying undefeated after first-leg results last week. Aston Villa's 3-1 away victory at Bologna snapped the Italians' club-record 11-game European unbeaten streak, while Freiburg dominated Celta Vigo 3-0 at home; 1-1 draws in Braga-Real Betis and Porto-Nottingham Forest preserved clean knockout records for those sides. Unai Emery's Aston Villa boasts a perfect knockout run (wins over Lille), bolstering their contender status alongside Porto's physicality and Freiburg's momentum, though second legs and potential semifinals introduce upset risks in this tightly contested bracket.
