Koki Matsuda enters the ITF M25 Taipei hard-court match as the clear favorite due to his ATP ranking near 478 and consistent professional experience on the tour. The Japanese right-hander has competed regularly in higher-level ITF and Challenger events, maintaining solid win rates on outdoor hard surfaces. Chen Hui Ho, a young Taiwanese player with limited ATP points and recent results primarily in junior or lower-tier UTR/ITF events, faces a significant ranking and experience gap. No prior head-to-head meetings exist, leaving form, fitness, and adaptation to the draw as the main variables. Home-crowd support in Taipei could provide Ho minor momentum, but Matsuda’s superior baseline game and recent match volume position him to control rallies on this surface.
