The 2026-27 Ligue 2 campaign opens with an unusually balanced field after recent relegations from Ligue 1 brought in Nantes, Metz, Reims, Saint-Étienne and Montpellier, all equipped with stronger squads, infrastructure and managerial continuity than most incumbents. Established second-tier sides such as Annecy, Dunkerque, Guingamp, Laval, Grenoble and Rodez retain promotion experience and home-form advantages, while Dijon and Sochaux return from National with momentum. Early fixtures and pre-season roster moves have not produced a clear frontrunner, leaving the implied probabilities tightly clustered as traders price in the realistic chance any of a dozen clubs could finish top through sustained form, key injuries or playoff outcomes.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to be named as the champion of Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
