Kyle Schwarber leads MLB with 25 home runs through mid-June 2026, ahead of Yordan Alvarez’s 24, reflecting his consistent power surge for the Phillies and recent milestone blasts including his 25th on June 16. Alvarez maintains strong pace with elite contact rates, high OPS, and AL-leading production, narrowing the gap despite fewer total games played. Younger power threats like James Wood and Nick Kurtz appear in the top tier due to early-season surges and projected volume, while established names such as Matt Olson, Juan Soto, and Aaron Judge trail amid slower starts or injury recoveries. The trader consensus prices Schwarber’s narrow edge and durability as the primary driver, with Alvarez’s health and hitting profile providing the clearest chase scenario over the remaining schedule.
