This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award for the 2026 NBA Playoffs. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by NBA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 NBA Playoffs are cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NBA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Trader consensus positions Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at 36.5% implied probability for Finals MVP, reflecting the Oklahoma City Thunder's No. 1 Western Conference seed, status as NBA Finals favorites at around +110, and SGA's MVP-caliber regular season with record-breaking scoring streaks and 40-point clinchers that secured their playoff berth. Victor Wembanyama (17.0%) gains traction from the Spurs' playoff return after a six-year drought, fueled by his clutch game-winners like a 34-point outing and 17-footer to clinch, positioning San Antonio as a youthful West dark horse. Jaylen Brown (14.0%) leads Boston Celtics options over Jayson Tatum amid Brown's career-high 28.8 points per game and All-NBA buzz, bolstering the No. 2 East seed's repeat contention, while Chet Holmgren (12.5%) benefits from OKC's frontcourt depth and title path. With first-round matchups tipping off April 18 absent major injuries, odds emphasize West dominance and OKC's skin-in-the-game momentum from recent surges.
