The conclusion of live-action *Stranger Things* Season 5 in three parts across late 2025 and early 2026 shifted focus to the animated spin-off *Stranger Things: Tales from ’85*, which dropped its full 10-episode first season on Netflix on April 23, 2026. Traders are pricing in Netflix as the dominant platform for any follow-up episodes or a potential Season 2 later this year, given the Duffer Brothers’ continued involvement as executive producers and the streamer’s track record with franchise extensions. Upcoming catalysts include fall 2026 release windows for additional animated content, alongside ancillary releases like script books, but no signals point to theatrical, broadcast, or rival-platform drops. Market-implied odds reflect Netflix’s control over the IP’s next canonical episodes amid steady fan demand for new Hawkins stories.

For the purposes of this market, an “episode” must be listed as a distinct episode of Stranger Things on Netflix and be playable for general subscribers in the United States. A behind-the-scenes featurette, documentary, trailer, recap, cast interview, deleted scenes compilation, or other bonus content will not count unless it is clearly presented by Netflix as an official numbered or titled episode of the series.
If Netflix releases an alternate cut, extended cut, or “secret” version of an already-released episode, it will not count unless it is listed as a separate episode entry on Netflix.
The primary resolution source for this market will be the Stranger Things title page on Netflix (episode list and availability), however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
