The Philippine squad, featuring the return of in-game leader JessieVash alongside roster additions like Rimuru and rookie duelist Zeus, has shown improved map execution on their preferred pools such as Breeze. Gen.G, despite topping the regional standings and boasting deep playoff experience, dropped the upper semifinal series to Team Secret earlier in the qualifier bracket, highlighting vulnerability in their current form. With both sides familiar from multiple head-to-heads this season, the best-of-three format will hinge on mid-round adaptations, agent compositions, and whether Gen.G can stabilize their defense following recent inconsistencies.
