This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve officially releases Deadlock by December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, "officially released" is defined as Deadlock being made publicly available to all players without requiring an invite, key, or any other form of restricted access on at least one platform. A transition to open Early Access on Steam qualifies as an official release, provided it is accessible to the general public without restrictions. An invite-only playtest, closed beta, or limited technical test does not qualify, regardless of player count or media coverage. For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of Deadlock. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve and the Deadlock Steam page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1422450/Deadlock/). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Valve’s Deadlock remains firmly in invite-only early development as of September 2026, with its Steam page still listing a “To be announced” release date and describing the build as experimental.** The game has received only balance patches and minor updates in recent months, including a September 16, 2026 patch focused on comeback mechanics, item tweaks, and hero adjustments. A larger content overhaul that developers flagged for “late September” has been repeatedly delayed due to extended playtesting and iteration, reflecting Valve’s deliberate pace rather than any shift toward a polished 1.0 launch. With roughly three months left in 2026, the absence of an open beta announcement, public marketing, or confirmed full release window strongly supports trader consensus favoring “No.” Valve’s history of lengthy closed testing phases for multiplayer titles, combined with ongoing core-system refinements, makes a rushed public launch before year-end unlikely. Key upcoming catalysts include the outcome of the anticipated late-September patch and any subsequent Steam page or forum updates that could signal movement toward wider access.
