A'ja Wilson holds overwhelming trader consensus as the WNBA blocks-per-game leader due to her established defensive dominance, league-leading 2.0 blocks per game across 37 appearances, and 74 total blocks that outpace the field. The Las Vegas forward/center combines elite length, timing, and positioning with high usage and minutes, sustaining her multi-year track record of topping the category while also leading in scoring and efficiency. Contenders such as Brittney Griner, Cameron Brink, and Kiah Stokes trail by meaningful margins despite solid per-game rates, reflecting Wilson's consistent edge in volume and opportunity. Late-season injury setbacks for Wilson or accelerated production from rising bigs like Brink or Kamilla Cardoso represent the primary realistic paths that could narrow the gap before season's end.

In the event of a tie for the highest blocks per game average, this market will resolve in favor of the player who appeared in the greater number of games. If the tied players also played the same number of games, the market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically.
Qualification for inclusion in official WNBA leaderboards (such as minimum games or statistical thresholds) will be determined according to WNBA rules and applied exactly as reflected in the official leaderboard.
If the 2026 WNBA regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or if an official leader has not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be the WNBA (https://stats.wnba.com/players/traditional/).
