Sijia Wei holds a substantial ranking advantage at approximately WTA 400 compared to Meng Yi Chen’s position near 868, positioning the higher-ranked Chinese player as the clear market favorite in this hard-court quarterfinal. Wei has shown strong recent form with straight-sets victories in the event, including a dominant win over Liuyan An, while Chen advanced past Jiangxue Han in similar fashion. Both competitors are local players navigating a compact W15 draw on familiar hard courts, where Wei’s greater experience and consistency on the surface typically translate to higher win rates. The matchup features limited historical head-to-head data, leaving recent ITF results and current form as the primary drivers of trader consensus. Any late injury updates or fatigue from the tight schedule could shift implied probabilities.
