Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans head into the 2026 IPL knockout stages with nearly identical league records of nine wins and five losses apiece, separated only by net run rate, which has fostered tight trader consensus around their title chances. Both sides demonstrated strong batting depth and effective bowling attacks throughout the group phase, with RCB claiming the top spot on superior NRR while GT secured second. Recent head-to-head results and playoff scheduling, including RCB's direct path to the final after topping the table, underscore the competitive balance, leaving room for momentum shifts in the remaining matches to influence outcomes.
