Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Titans head into the IPL 2026 final as the season's two strongest sides, with RCB holding a narrow edge from topping the league table and routing GT by 92 runs in Qualifier 1 behind Rajat Patidar's explosive 93 off 33 balls and Virat Kohli's consistent contributions. Gujarat's potent pace attack and top-order depth, anchored by Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan, have kept them competitive throughout, while their home advantage at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad narrows the gap. RCB's balanced lineup and defending-champion pedigree underpin trader consensus, yet GT's superior bowling economy and playoff resilience sustain the tight implied probabilities in this winner-take-all matchup.
