Royal Challengers Bengaluru top the IPL 2026 points table with four wins in five matches and a superior +1.503 NRR, bolstered by recent dominant chases against LSG (five wickets, 29 balls remaining on April 15) and MI (18-run defense on April 12), reflecting their post-mega auction balance and defending champions' momentum. Rajasthan Royals sit close on eight points from four wins, but a 57-run loss to SRH on April 13 tempered enthusiasm despite earlier triumphs over RCB and MI. Punjab Kings remain unbeaten with three wins and a no-result in four games, showcasing chase prowess against SRH and CSK. Mumbai Indians lag after three losses in four, yet legacy keeps them viable. Early-season depth across top squads maintains a tight race for playoffs.
