Pre-draft consensus reflected uncertainty, with offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr., edge rusher James Pearce Jr., defensive tackle Mason Graham, and safety Malaki Starks hovering near 50% amid mock draft debates over positional value and team needs—Cardinals prioritized Love's elite speed, vision, and receiving skills to bolster their backfield post-James Conner era. No realistic challenges remain absent a rare commissioner reversal or trade-back anomaly.
