Red Star Belgrade enters the 2026-27 Serbian SuperLiga as the clear market leader among title contenders, backed by a dozen recent championships, superior squad depth, and consistent European qualification that sustains their resources. The club opened the new campaign with strong early results, extending a streak of domestic dominance that includes multiple straight titles through the prior season. Partizan, their primary rival in the eternal derby, trails in implied probability amid ongoing inconsistencies in form and squad turnover. Mid-table sides such as Vojvodina, Čukarički, and IMT sit further back, reflecting limited historical success and thinner rosters compared with the Belgrade giants, while smaller clubs like Radnički 1923 or Novi Pazar remain longer shots due to promotion/relegation pressures and weaker infrastructure. League contraction to 12 teams from 2027-28 adds incentive for consistency but has not yet shifted the established hierarchy.
