This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Arizona. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Governor of Arizona, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Arizona's 2026 gubernatorial contest between incumbent Democrat Katie Hobbs and Republican nominee Andy Biggs remains competitive in polling, with the race's closeness and party mobilization efforts likely sustaining uncertainty around total ballots cast on November 3. Historical turnout in Arizona midterm and gubernatorial cycles has varied significantly due to early and mail voting volumes, enthusiasm among independents and key demographic blocs, and the presence of any concurrent ballot measures. The recent July primary showed notably low participation, which may signal softer baseline engagement heading into the general, while campaign strategies focused on running mates and voter outreach could drive higher or lower participation depending on ground-game execution. Trader odds remain tightly clustered across multiple turnout brackets because no single catalyst—such as major scandals, economic shifts, or national events—has yet clarified whether the election will see elevated mobilization typical of swing-state races or more moderate levels consistent with recent off-year patterns.
