Charles Broom enters the Manacor hard-court matchup as the clear favorite due to his ATP ranking near 258, extensive professional experience, and strong 2026 form on the surface, including recent wins in ITF and Challenger events. The British right-hander has compiled a solid win rate above 60 percent career-wide, with particular strength indoors and on hard, plus reliable serving and baseline consistency. Hongjin Qi, a 16-year-old Chinese junior ranked outside the top 400 in senior terms, brings raw talent and recent junior results but limited professional match play against established pros. Broom’s ranking edge, recent momentum, and physical maturity create a wide gap that traders reflect in implied probabilities, though Qi’s upside in longer rallies or if Broom encounters early errors remains a minor variable on the outdoor hard courts.
