Mert Alkaya enters the first-round Astana Challenger matchup as the clear favorite at roughly 77 percent implied probability, driven primarily by his superior ATP ranking of 299 compared to Sidharth Rawat’s 536. Alkaya’s stronger recent form and experience on outdoor hard courts give him the edge in a debut head-to-head. Rawat, however, arrives with momentum after straight-set qualifying victories over Aleksandre Bakshi and Shunsuke Mitsui, showing solid serving and return consistency on the Astana hard courts. No notable injuries or withdrawals have been reported for either player, and the match is set for Court 1 with standard best-of-three set rules. Trader sentiment reflects Alkaya’s higher baseline level while acknowledging Rawat’s local results as a source of realistic upset potential in this lower-tier Challenger encounter.
