This market will resolve according to the team winning 1st place at the 2026 EWC Dota 2 tournament, currently scheduled for July 07 - July 19, 2026. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve to the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If the competition is cancelled, postponed after August 2, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the winner of EWC Dota 2 is not determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the EWC website (https://esportsworldcup.com/en/competitions/2026/dota2). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The expanded 24-team field at the Esports World Cup Dota 2 in Paris has produced a bunched outright market, with defending champion Team Spirit, recent EPT standouts like 1W and PARIVISION, and consistent performers such as Team Falcons, Aurora Gaming, and Xtreme Gaming all viewed as realistic title contenders by traders. Group-stage round-robin play across four groups of six rewards roster depth and adaptability rather than early momentum, while single-elimination playoffs introduce variance that keeps implied probabilities compressed. Recent qualifier results and EPT rankings have reinforced parity among European, Chinese, and international squads without establishing a clear frontrunner ahead of the July 7 start.
